Accommodation

Yenworthy Lodge has 11 bedrooms with between 2 - 6 beds and good quality wooden bunks in each room. Three bedroooms have ensuite toilet facilities, and 2 rooms are specifically designed for those with special physical needs with a state of the art hoist system.

 You can choose between a sea view over looking the Bristol Channel or a woodland view looking out onto Exmoor.

We have 3 rooms with en suite facilities. All rooms have wash hand basins. We have a dedicated shower block and a bathroom/wetroom which can be accessed via the Lyko hoist from two bedrooms. There is an electrically operated changing table and the bathroom has been adapted for wheelchair access. We have 2 brand new solar powered showers in our eco friendly outside toilet and shower block which compliments the facilities for residing in the Yurt and Tipi.

The accomodation in the main centre is all on one level, with ramps and extra wide doors to allow eay access for wheel chair users

Yenworthy is surrounded by 6 acres of safe wooded grounds.The grounds have been sensitively adapted for use as a fully functioning Outdoor centre. there is a field suitable for ball sports or camping, a dedicated BBQ and fire pit area, a willow classroom and a beautiful pond/picnic area.  

Inside the centre has a well equipped games rooom and a full IT suite with WiFi, electronic white boards linked to DVD players and digital TV. There is mobile phone reception for most providers and the centre has its own payphone which accepts incoming calls.
