The safety of our visitors is our primary concern, and is overseen by Steve Cox, Head of Centre. All centre staff are very experienced and hold specialised qualifications enabling them to undertake all relevant risk assessments required by law.
Yenworthy is licensed by the Adventure Activities Licensing Service (AALS), to provide outdoor adventure activities. It is also accredited and approved by the Association of Heads of Outdoor Centres (AHOEC).
The centres minibuses are fitted with 3 point seatbelts and staff are Oxfordshire County Council minibus driver licence holders.
All catering staff are qualified to meet the requirements of the Food Safety Act 1990
Insurance
Participating pupils and adults from our parent authority-Oxfordshire, will be automatically covered for insurance at a cost of 35p per person per day. The cost of this cover, which includes travel, will be part of the inclusive charge for the course and no other insurance is required.
It is advisable that all other groups should obtain adequate insurance cover during your stay with us.
